Tainted Love
A beauty mark you can’t cover.
It hurts too much to make up.
The smart ones hide so well, it’s only revealed through a jump from a faint yell.
Given by the love of her life. The lie birthing truth.
They were together since kids, even happily had a few, but only his anger grew.
He became two men.
One she adored, and one who grew up watching men beat women.
She told herself the first hit was a mistake
“This isn’t hell she thought, at-least it’s not rape.”
She wiped her tears, remembering how great she felt during the passionate love they make.
Her mother also loved his type. Always saying “it makes people tuff”
Not realizing, the real lesson men need to learn is respecting love.
Especially love for women, because they all come from and need them.
